1. Seeking Refuge in Zenshu Forest

The undead swarm closes in on our heroes. Surrounded in every direction, what fate will befall these brazen men?

-The party traveled northeast but was quickly assailed by an ancient black dragon along with 2 young brood dragons. After a lengthy chase across a bloody former battlefield, the group reached the safety of the forest canopy once again. The dragons were engaged by griffon riding elven archers and disappeared over the horizon. The party continued forth through the forested hills towards the sounds of a pitched battle. Upon arriving on the scene they discovered a group of possessed elves attacking their own kind. The group managed to save one of the unaffected elves from sure death but in the process Grukk was possessed in turn by a slug parasite. Grukk was subdued and the surviving elf lead the group to 'The Colony'.

- At the colony the group encountered Aldat, an ancient elf wizard barely able to move and speak but still apparently wielding great power. The party learned that Princess Jaia was rescued and helping serve the colony in turn for refuge. Nysust has not been seen. The group was informed of a portal being unearthed with the hope that it could be used to escape Zenshu forest and to this end Lothor was given a scroll to decipher that gives more detail of said portal. The party is informed they will have to serve the colony to earn their keep and that duty begins tomorrow...
